NU Pakistan Diminta Andil Atasi Ekstrimisme

Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) di Pakistan diminta turut andil mewarnai kehidupan dan pola pikir warga Indonesia di Pakistan, terkait isu ekstrimisme dan terorisme di negeri Muslim itu.

Duta Besar RI untuk Pakistan Ishak Latuconsina berharap NU Pakistan bekerjasama dengan pihak KBRI ikut berperan melindungi warga dan pelajar Indonesia di Pakistan agar tidak terseret pada gerakan itu.

Demikian dalam kunjungan silaturrahim Pengurus Cabang Istimewa Nahdlatul Ulama (PCINU) Pakistan ke kantor KBRI di Islamabad, Kamis (7/5) seperti dilaporkan kontributor NU Online Firman Arifandi.

Ketua Tanfidziah PCINU Pakistan Agus Handoko dalam pertemuan itu menyampaikan, NU sebagai organisasi sosial kemasyarakatan memfokuskan kegiatan pada pengembangan keilmuan anggota, mempromosikan ajaran agama Islam yang toleran dan memasyarakatkan konsep Islam Rahmatan lil Alamiin.

Duta Besar RI menyambut baik kunjungan delegasi PCINU Pakistan. Dikatakannya, keberadaan organisasi semacam PCINU dan lainnya sangat positif untuk memudahkan komunikasi dan koordinasi bagi KBRI, khususnya terkait dengan program KBRI untuk memberikan perlindungan dan pelayanan warga Indonesia.

“Saya menyambut baik adanya NU di Pakistan, ini bagus sekali untuk memudahkan komunikasi dan koordinasi antar pihak KBRI dengan masyarakat,” jelasnya.

Duta Besar berharap komunikasi dan interaksi dengan para pelajar Indonesia di madrasah-madrasah dapat terus dibangun untuk memberikan masukan dan informasi kepada mereka agar terhindar dari gerakan ektrimisme.

Dikatakannya, hal ini bisa diwujudkan dengan mengadakan studi riset sekte keagamaan yang yang ada di Pakistan dan mempresentasikannya dalam forum seminar bersama ormas Islam lainnya.

Turut dalam rombongan Ketua Umum PCINU Pakistan di bawah panasnya cuaca Islamabad yang bertemperatur 34 derajat itu, Sekjen PCINU Isyrokh Fuadi, Ketua Lembaga Kajian Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Lakpesdam PCINU Zakky Yamani, Ketua Lembaga Dakwah PCINU Andri Gunawan, dan Firman Arifandi sendiri yang juga Ketua Lajnah Ta'lif wan Nasyr PCINU Pakistan.

Di akhir pertemuan, sebagai wujud terimakasih dan sambung silaturahim, Ketua PCINU memberikan buku “Bunga Rampai PCINU Pakistan”. Sedangkan Duta Besar RI memberikan dua buku yaitu buku "Indonesia Unggul" karya Presiden RI Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono dan "Harus Bisa, Seni Memimpin Ala SBY" karya Dino Patti Djalal.
