5 Mahasiswa Tewas, PCINU Pakistan Kutuk Aksi Teror |

Sedikitnya lima mahasiswa tewas dalam ledakan yang terjadi di kampus International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad, Selasa (21/10) sore kemarin sekitar pukul 15.00 waktu Pakistan, dan 29 lainnya luka-luka.
Pengurus Cabang Istimewa Nahdlatul Ulama (PCINU) Pakistan mengutuk aksi teror ini seraya mengingatkan warga NU dan masyarakat Indonesia di Pakistan lebih waspada dan berhati-hati terhadap aksi teror yang bisa terjadi kapan saja.
Kontributor NU Online di Pakistan Firman Arifandi melaporkan, ledakan terjadi dua kali di tempat berbeda. Ledakan pertama berlokasi di kafetaria putri dan disusul ledakan kedua di kampus blok A Fakultas Syariah and Law.
Korban meninggal dan beberapa korban luka-luka segera dievakuasi menggunakan kendaraan pribadi, setelah beberapa saat kemudian ambulan datang dan orang-orang berkerumunan memastikan apakah ada kerabat mereka di antara reruntuhan puing-puing bangunan tersebut. Tidak ada satu korban pun dari mahasiswa asal Indonesia, sekalipun setidaknya ada 3 orang yang berada dekat di tempat kejadian karena sedang masuk kuliah.
“Begitu mendengar ledakan, kami segera berhamburan dari kelas mencoba menyelamatkan diri. Dan saya sempat lihat beberapa mahasiswa yang melompat dari lantai dua karena panik, saya sendiri dan beberapa teman mencoba membobol gate kanan kampus yang terkunci,” kata Hifni, mahasiswa Indonesia asal Lampung.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, belum ada yang mengaku bertanggung jawab dari pihak Thaliban ataupun Al-Qaeda atas pengeboman ini. Setidaknya dua tahun terakhir ini mereka telah melakukan berkali-kali serangan bomb bunuh diri dan memakan banyak korban tanpa pandang bulu.
Tanfidziah PCINU Pakistan Ahmad Nabil menyatakan, turut berduka atas meninggalnya beberapa rekan mahasiswa yang menjadi korban pengeboman serta beberapa korban luka lainnya.
“Semoga mereka yang menjadi korban, meninggal dalam keadaan syahid fi sabilillah serta amalannya di terima Allah. Kami mengutuk keras aksi berdarah yang tidak berperikemanusian. Kampus menjadi sasaran yang tidak beralasan, sungguh dzalim,” katanya.
Mustasyar PCINU Pakistan Ni’am Sutaman mengingatkan agar warga NU khususnya dan masyarakat Indonesia di Pakistan pada umumnya lebih waspada dan berhati-hati. “Aksi terror yang tak pandang bulu ini bisa ada kapan saja di mana saja,” katanya.
Sampai saat ini kebijaksanaan yang diambil pihak universitas adalah mengosongkan kampus dan asrama dari aktivitas belajar mengajar dan kemahasiswaan. Sementara langkah yang diambil pihak KBRI adalah membawa pindah mahasiswa Indonesia dari asrama untuk menetap di guest house KBRI untuk sementara waktu hingga keadaan kembali reda. (fir) |
